Vineyeards and Cellar
8 hectares of vineyard, there are 5 hectares of Sangiovese and 3
hectares of Merlot.
We own 3 hectares of olives to produce high quality extra virgin olive
oil, woods where we keep our free ranged animals, several types of
fruits, pasture and the field to coltivate grains.
Biodiversity is the key of our family farm.

The grapes are carefully selected. Thinning and containment of the
leaves to favor aeration and fruit ripening.
Every work carried out in the vineyard manually, from pruning to green
harvesting, up to harvest of grapes.
Vineyard of “Quarto Giro” 100% Merlot
Type: Merlot
Altitude: 280 meters above sea level
Position: South/South east
Situate: Flat
Training system: Spurred cordon, the average age of vines 20 years
Plantation Density: 4500 plants per a hectare
The grapes are carefully selected. Thinning and containment of the
leaves to favor aeration and fruit ripening.
Every work carried out in the vineyard manually, from pruning to green
harvesting, up to harvest of grapes.
The cellar is equipped with temperature-controlled stainless steel
tanks for alcoholic fermentation.
The aging cellar was built underground to maintain constant
temperature and humidity in a natural way.
25/30 hl slavonian oak barrels for the refining of Brunello and Rosso
di Montalcino.
The small barrels of French oak are destined for the aging of Quarto
Giro 100% Merlot.
